Martin Willis of Podcast UFO sits down with former FBI Agent and TV host Ben Hansen to discuss his insights on notable UFO cases, his take on recent UAP crash retrieval claims, and what he believes the future holds for disclosure. Hansen shares his unique perspective from both law enforcement and investigative media experience in this thought-provoking conversation.

Ben Hansen was the lead host and investigator of the TV show Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files which originally aired three seasons on the Syfy Channel and now can be seen on Destination America. The Fact or Faked team investigated videos and photos of alleged paranormal events to determine if they had a natural explanation, were hoaxed, or if they remained unexplained. In addition to responding to UFO cases, the six-person team also led audiences around the world in search of ghosts, Bigfoot, chupacabras, mermaids, and other unusual occurrences. More recently, Hansen appeared on UFO’s Declassified which aired on the Smithsonian Channel and History Canada, Mysteries of the Outdoors and Expedition Unknown on the Travel Channel, and Paranormal Lockdown and Ghosts of Shepherdstown on Destination America.

Hansen graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Sociology and Criminology. He then went to work for several years investigating child physical abuse and sex crimes before moving on to employment with the FBI. He now uses the skills he learned in interviewing and investigation methodology to focus his research on techniques to validate UFO witness testimony and filter out hoaxers and cases with natural explanations. As a night vision and thermal imaging equipment dealer, Hansen also works with technology manufacturers to improve low-light video recording with the goal of improving the documentation of the UFO phenomenon. His company, Night Vision Ops, can be found online at www.nightvisionops.com.
