The Family the RCMP Refused to Find

Much like the United States of America, the provinces of Canada are connected by a collection of interprovincial highways known as the National Highway System. Among these is Route 16, known as the Yellowhead Highway, which covers over 1800 miles from the Gwaii Archipelago to central Manitoba. The route connects many of the country’s major cities, including Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Edmonton before it crosses the Canadian Rockies at its namesake Yellowhead Pass into British Columbia and towards the city of Prince George. From that point onward, until Highway 16 hits the west coast at Prince Rupert, it is known by another name: the Highway of Tears. On August 1st, 1989, all four members of the Jack family departed their home in a white pickup bound for that highway. They were never seen again. Welcome back to The Lore Lodge...
