Peter Mcilvenna and I discussed the experience of Great Britain and Europe more generally with the translation of migration from Muslim countries dominated by Sharia into democratic nations where block voting and other influence operations are translating into Muslim mayors in many British cities.

We discussed that in the context of the prospect that we might have a Sharia-adherent Muslim mayor of New York City after this fall's election. A man who personifies the red-green axis, communist on the one hand and Sharia supremacist on the other, possibly quite a toxic combination, in a position of power in arguably America's most important city.

I examined the state of our electric grid in his native state of Texas and, more broadly, its vulnerabilities, particularly the degree to which we are dangerously increasing our dependence on Chinese technology for its operations despite evidence that the Chinese intend to disrupt it at will. We also discussed the implications for the oil industry of an apparent market glut and, in particular, what it might translate into in terms of President Trump's aspiration to establish American energy dominance.
