CHAKA IT'S NOT HUMAN

The CHAKA Metal Band from NYC has released their new video/single, "It's Not Human". Filmed by longtime friend and artist, Jorge Lolo Rodriguez, this song was inspired by a book by 2022 Nobel Prize-winner Svaante Pabo, called "Neanderthal Man: In Search of Lost Genomes". It seeks to have the following questions answered:

"Where did we come from? And how are we related to the ancient species that came before us? Asking questions like these is part of what makes us human. But, genetically speaking, what really does make us human?"

The song was recorded in the winter and spring of 2025. CHAKA personnel is: Ty Canon {guitar,}, Frank Principe {guitar}, Mike Caldarella {drums}, and Mark Sokoll {bass guitar and vocals}.
