Spring 2025 is always a welcome season, for many many reasons, pertaining to my orchids. For myself, the biggest thrill and true start of a growing season post any winter, is when I get to place my angraecum orchids into the area of the patio called The Deep South. This is always a special time of year for me, as keeping these amazing orchids from Madagascar alive, throughout the challenges of winter, in S'ern Spain, is extremely stressful for the Darwin Orchids as well as for myself. Now, for the coming 7 months, I can water and fertilize liberally without the threat of stem rot! The only thing I have to be careful of, during the summer months, is....
