Is this notion that the world is getting worse, all pushed by media crisis bombardment, as one would expect from the likes of Operation Mockingbird? I want to discuss the recent mass violence incident that occurred in Paris, where twelve people (usual suspects) were arrested after 145 people reported being pricked by syringes at an international music festival (mostly young females). I will show you how these things are perceived in Western Europe, and the big difference between living in a village and the big cities when it comes to the risks and perceptions.
