I was born and raised in Staten Island for the first 18 years of my life and I stayed until age 22. I will always consider New York City my home but it has changed so much. more than I can handle and more than I was willing to raise my kids in. so I moved. go west young lady and so I did. and 31 years later here I am still. I choose to be. there is nothing back east that I really need aside from very close friends and my family. sometimes lives separate. and not just emotionally but physically. and sad thing to see. but I will not go back. I refuse. I will not spend any time or money in the state of New York any more than I wouldn't stay to California which is about 12 miles west down the road from me now. I don't care if that's the only place I can get it I ain't going I ain't doing it as they say.
