The Electric Pen: Daring or Dangerous?

Today we test out our latest project, the electric pen! The day is saved folks, finally, we'll never run out of ink again! Is it groundbreaking and innovative, or dangerous and impractical? You decide!

First we make a solution of potassium iodide. We then soak paper in the solution until completely saturated. After allowing it to dry, we move the paper to a conductive metal service and hook up our power supply and electric pen. After tuning the power supply to the correct voltage, we can then write on our paper without any ink! The electric current reduces the potassium iodide in the paper to iodine wherever our pen touches the page, which stains the paper perfectly as we write!
