It Was So Windy at the PRS Finale, My Skills Got Blown Back to Me!!

Well, the finale match for our 2024-2025 PRS Season turned out to be one of the windiest days we have had!!
But, somehow, the wind must have blown the cobwebs out of my brain and I managed to get some of my skills back on track! lol

The day started well, nice and overcast. Then the sun came out and the wind picked up. Most stages were in the 18-24 mph range. Had about half with a near 3 o'clock cross wind.
Was blowing so hard, in the positional stages it would blow me off target after getting semi stable! Had a few misses from the wind knocking me around. I am too scrawny for days like that, lol.

I had a few bad stages like usual. The good news, most other people also had bad luck on those same stages. So we had a few that were just really tricky for everyone. I managed to do quite a bit better this month on a few I did horrible on last month! So that felt like a good bit of redemption!

I managed to finish 6 hits behind the guy who scored first!
At the match I did terrible on at Clinton last month, he beat me by like 33 hits!!! So narrowing that gap a good bit was the confidence boost I really needed.
I was too hard on myself after my last match. I cleared my head and went out to have fun. As expected, I did a lot better this time!!

I am getting ready to do some more larger matches the next few months, so stay tuned and we will see how things go for the rest of the summer. Need to test my barrel and see how much life is left in it soon. I am just gonna run it till it stops hitting what I want it to, lol.
