*East Shore Campground* is located on the Eastern Shore of Loon Lake. It is First Come, First Served, and has 6 Campsites. It is very well built out of as far as paving and each Campsite has a Fire Pit and Grill Station. There is a centrally located Pod of two restrooms with multiple well paved paths weaving through the Campground to it. Campsite #6 is ADA. Across the Road is a wooden staircase down to East Shore Campground Day Use Area with 2 Picnic Sites and a Platform that would be ideal to launch a Kayak, Canoe, Paddleboard or just to get in and Swim the Lake! East Shore Campground is a very high quality BASE CAMP to explore the Loon Lake and Oregon Coast area!

*Loon Lake Recreation Site* (NW Corner of Loon Lake) is located in the heart of Oregon Coast's Range and is part of the Umpqua River watershed that drains water from the Coast Range to the Pacific Ocean. It is owned/operated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). It is situated on the NW Shoreline of Loon Lake. It consists of a large Campground (53 Campsites - Reservable @ Recreation.gov), Day Use Picnic Area, Boat Ramp Launch, Fishing Dock, Amphitheatre, and even has a short Waterfall Hike through Elliott State Forest to Loon Lake Falls to the South of the Day Use Picnic Area (known just as "Loon Lake" on AllTrails). Loon Lake is ideal for fun in the water - Boating, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Rafting, Swimming and of course Fishing! Loon Lake Recreation Site is the logistics/infrastructure anchor point of this entire area and serves as an EXCELLENT BASE CAMP for Hiking, Boating and to generally explore this very high quality area!
