About a 2# bass hooked just while someone in a house behind me blows a trumpet!

You may hear a a wind instrument that sounds like a trumpet. Someone was in one of the houses behind me making some sound. You might hear me laughing. About that time BAM, fish on! Nice 2# er!

I'll tell you. There aren't many things I enjoy more than going fishing at the end of the day around sunset. The fish are usually biting and it's relaxing just looking at the lake even if I don't catch anything.

Note that while reading in the fish I had to tighten my drag, it's the star shaped gear just inside the crank handle. If a fish is really heavy or has a good fight then sometimes you may have to do that while you are reading, just do it quickly so you don't miss the fish!
