THE GOOD SHEPHERD WHO RESCUES, RESTORES, AND FEEDS HIS SCATTERED SHEEP

Ezekiel 34:12-13 New King James Version
12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, [a]in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country.

There's something out of touch Jeremiah, find very compelling, because it contains 2 things. A warning, and a promise. A warning against false teachers, who want to poison and abuse their flock, but also a promise to God's flock, that He will not abandon them, but will bring them back. That God will not stand by and see His flock suffer, but will actively, lovingly, and relentlessly pursue that lost sheep so that he can restore that lost soul back to Him. I think that's why I really find these questions from this morning's devotional so encouraging, and I wanted to share them with you tonight. Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share with all of you through this vlog tonight, the things that God has shown me from this passage of scripture on the fact that God is the Good Shepherd who rescues, redeems, and restores anyone who wants it. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to say something to every person who is watching this vlog and reading this passage of scripture and you're feeling spiritually trapped and isolated, to know that God sees you, and is ready to rescue you if you'll let Him. I especially want to reach out to those who are feeling this way, because you are being isolated, trapped, and kept against your will by someone who claims to love you, and you want to and are trying to get out, to know that you’re being prayed for, and there are people here that will support you. If you've been poisoned by false doctrine, lies, and put through spiritual, physical, mental, and financial abuse, know that there are brothers and sisters in Christ out here who are ready and willing to help you. All you have to do is cry out and say “Help!” Remember, as Marvin Williams stated so well, “When we feel lost, trapped, or isolated, our heavenly Father sees our plight and won’t leave us stranded. He actively seeks to rescue and restore us.”
