Spider-Man 4 Gets The Punisher and the MCU Has Plans for 2028?

Spider-Man: Brand New Day completes its assumed trifecta of heroes by adding Jon Bernthal's Punisher to the mix. With the casting announcement, the rumors from the end of 2024 have been confirmed, signalling some of the longest term planning Marvel has done in years.

By announcing a tentative release date for a movie in December 2028, Kevin Feige has sparked speculation as to what that day may hold. Could it be a new property? A sequel? Or will the Avengers films split into a trilogy to make sense of and close out the Multiverse saga. Or maybe, just maybe, we will be getting the take on the X-Men by Thunderbolts visionary Jake Schreier!
