11. Recap of Previous Class and Core Themes | Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله)

Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله) by reviewing the previous session, which introduced the author Imām Al-Bukhāri رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ, his book Sahīh Al-Bukhāri, and particularly the final chapter, Kitāb At-Tawḥīd. The Shaykh explains why this essential chapter appears at the end rather than the beginning, noting that Al-Bukhāri was an Imām upon the way of the Salaf. While some later commentators on his work deviated from that path, Al-Bukhāri himself firmly adhered to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah. The Shaykh highlights that Al-Bukhāri was not only a master of Hadīth but also a scholar of ‘Aqīdah and Fiqh, and Sahīh Al-Bukhāri reflects all three dimensions. This becomes evident through the structure of the book and the specific chapters refuting various deviant sects. Central to this final chapter is the most important message brought by all Prophets: Tawḥīd, the Oneness of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى. The Shaykh emphasizes that the foundational knowledge required to know Allah and worship Him correctly has been made abundantly clear through Revelation. Even if disputes and deviations exist, Tawḥīd will always remain clear to those who sincerely seek the truth.
