On episode 68, my special guests are Jesse & The Hogg Brothers. They made their debut at Live at "The Shop" on 6/15/25 in Dunbar, WV.

Jesse and The Hogg Brothers are a unique band known as the "1st Family of Texas Cow Punk". They blend various music genres, including punk rock, Texas swing, bluegrass, and rockabilly. Their sound is a fusion of artists like Johnny Rotten growing up on a farm, the Dead Boys coming from a Texas trailer park, or the Dead Kennedys raised in Bakersfield.
The band was founded by Jesse Braintree, who has been involved in music for most of his life, playing and writing songs. Other members include Cash Hogg, Stevie Hogg, CJ5 Hogg (12 String, Bass, and Vocals), Pappy Hogg (Guitar, Bass, and Vocals), Kenny Hogg (Guitar, Bass, and Vocals), and Hester Hogg (Drums). They also have had other variations and members throughout the years.
Jesse and The Hogg Brothers originated in Texas in 2009, moved to Boston in 2013, and are currently based in the Louisville, Kentucky metro area. They tour nationally and are considered a nationally touring CowPunk music variety show.
