Through the chapter titles and the placement of specific Hadīth, Imām Al-Bukhāri رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ responds to various deviant sects and their corrupt ideologies. In Kitāb Al-Qadr, he refutes the Qadariyyah. In Kitāb Al-Fitan, he responds to the Khawārij. In Kitāb Al-Ahkām, he addresses the Rāfidah. In Kitāb Al-Īmān, he answers the Murji’ah. And in Kitāb At-Tawḥīd, he refutes the Jahmiyyah and similar sects. This structure makes Sahīh Al-Bukhāri a powerful tool of clarification, upholding the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamā‘ah, and defending the truth against falsehood through Hadīth, Fiqh, and correct creed.
