1. Introduction to Sahīh Al-Bukhāri and Kitāb At-Tawhīd | Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله)

Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله) begins by seeking the Tawfīq (Divine enablement) of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and introduces the explanation of Kitāb At-Tawhīd from Sahīh Al-Bukhāri, one of the two most authentic books after the Qur'an according to unanimous scholarly agreement.

While the book is commonly referred to as Sahīh Al-Bukhāri, students of knowledge should be aware of its full scholarly title, which is documented in two well-known versions:

As stated by scholars like Ibn As-Salāh, An-Nawawi, and Al-Qādi 'Iyād:
"الجامع المسند الصحيح المختصر من أُمور رسول الله ﷺ وسننه وأيامه"

As reordered by Ibn Hajr:
"الجامع الصحيح المسند المختصر من حديث رسول الله ﷺ وسننه وأيامه"

The author is the legendary Imām of the Muhaddithīn, Muhammad Ibn Ismā’īl Al-Bukhāri رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ.

Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله) notes that detailed talks on the life of Imām Al-Bukhāri have already been delivered in past lectures — some of which date back to early 20s — and may still be available. While the biography has been previously covered, a future version may be prepared specifically for students of knowledge, Inshā’Allāh.
