At long last, Horror Fans and Gamers, we arrive, not just at the Penultimate Episode of the #Terrorbytes Documentary, but we retrace the Indie Revolution. This is something truly special for the genre. The impact of games like Slenderman: The Arrival and The Eight Pages, the Amnesia Series, to recent innovative classics like the reverse Horror Game Carrion. The indie scene has allowed new experiences, fresh voices, and novel franchises to play with the big boys. It was these third party developers that allowed for experimentation with the genre, capitalizing on new mechanics like sanity systems, and a less is more approach that actually delivered. Of all the Episodes thus far, your Horror Host, Inkarnate is the most excited for this one.
