The Scientist Who Healed Himself and Helped Thousands: Meet Andy Cutler | Rebecca

In the process of redoing my website so that Google will finally notice me, I found this essay I wrote about Andy Cutler and I read it out loud to you here.

The essay covers Andy’s education, how he got poisoned, and how he was peculiarly qualified to figure out a chelation protocol. I tell the story of his self experimentation and how trying one random chelator led to “ losing a lot of coordination and staggering around like Frankenstein for 10 or 15 minutes until I passed out.”

This experience led him to the conclusion that ”medicine is in fact a technical field that involves giving dangerous chemicals to living human beings and that there is no substitute for identifying, understanding and applying the basic scientific principles behind the use of these chemicals if you want to get better.”

He also made this comment: “I didn't derive my protocol from on high. I looked stuff up and tried it, talked about it on a listserver (the amalgam.de list) and others tried it as well. After getting large numbers of positive and consistent reports I considered it a protocol and wrote a book about it. I would have considered it shockingly irresponsible to advocate it based solely on theoretical reasoning, without many hundreds of people trying it and talking about it with me.”

I wish more practitioners would stop advocating for stuff based solely on theoretical reasoning. Don’t prescribe random stuff without really knowing what you are doing. That is “shockingly irresponsible.” Our support group is full of people who got badly injured because of bad advice.
