Hank Brennan just dropped a press release about the Karen Read trial… and honestly, why even bother? You’d think after two trials and a not guilty verdict, the focus might be on, I don’t know — justice winning? An innocent woman almost sent away twice?

Nope. Not in Massachusetts.

Instead, we got a sympathy letter to the McAlberts — like they were the ones fighting for their life. 80% of it reads like a PR draft for Team Fairview. Barely a word about the woman the state tried (twice!) to put behind bars for something she didn’t do.

But that’s how it goes around here. Forget the truth, forget the verdict — just make sure you’re on the right side of the local Christmas card list.
