Trump hits three Iranian uranium enrichment sites very hard and takes credit for their complete demolition, which turns out not to be quite right. After telling Iran it had two weeks to decide whether to come to the negotiating table, he hit them in two days! The credibility of the US has taken a massive hit, over the long run far more serious and consequential than the bombing raid for which he took so much credit! Experts worry that it's only a temporary setback for Iran, which other sources have confirmed. RT has reported that the damage was in fact modest and of no significance, but the Iranian Parliament has now voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, which no doubt will be done on a selective basis. Russia reportedly demands that Israel cease attacks on Iran, but its treaty with Iran only requires it not to join an aggressor and to assist in negotiations, not come to its defense! Col. Macgregor views this development as a calamity for the US and its standing in the world, with which I completely agree. Scott Ritter says that every day, Israel grows weaker and Iran grows stronger, as Iran declares it will not cease enriching uranium for peaceful nuclear energy production.
