This Sunday, Mike McClung returned to the Overcoming Life Series by teaching this message called, "Why Was I Created?" In it, Mike discusses how we were created to glorify the Lord and share in both His life and authority. But in this fallen world, full of devils and selfishness, this extension of the Father's kingdom takes militant, overcoming, offense-minded victors. So why is there such a gap between what scripture says, and what the Church is doing? One reason: few are taught to train and build toward mastery of Christlikeness. This is by grace through the Spirit, of course. But as the old saying goes, "If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time." So what are we aiming at, day after day?
