It wasn’t easy—leaving my family broke my heart, and starting over in a new country was terrifying. But I had to follow my gut and take the leap.

From buying a whiteboard to teaching my first Bitcoin class, it was all about stepping out of my comfort zone. What did I want the students to take away? How did I handle the hard questions? And just when everything seemed to be falling into place, a hurricane hit and flipped everything upside down.
