Tonight I add to my wardrobe a watch, not as a fashion statement, not to display my wealth, not to brag about my social status, but simply a functional watch. This is a LASIKA apparently, although I only saw the name on the leaflet during this video because on the watch itself it's written so small. Why I like this watch is because the time display on it is nice and large enough, with the day of the week, seconds and date all there on screen without me having to push anything first. It also has a stopwatch, which I definitely will use, and a nice green lit up display for the dark. I tried to see if it can change from green to blue or red or any color inbetween any of those, as sometimes the backlight color on these digital watches can be selected. I couldn't find how to change it with this one or if it even can. I'm good with the green though. It also has an alarm clock apparently, but I forgot to listen if the volume is loud enough. Probably I'll never use the alarm function anyway so I'm not too bothered with it. All in all, it seems a good watch for the purposes for which I bought it. Is it waterproof? The leaflet seems to say so, although I'm not sure if I trust it as the leaflet seems to be a generic one not specific to this particular watch. But as long as it's splash proof when I wash my hands, I'm happy enough with its water resistancy. Well, let's see how long this watch will last.
