"The Leatherneck" (1929) Reel Two - Restored Sound from Vitaphone Disc

We currently have the sound discs for reels two and five for this part-talkie.

Apparently one the silent version of this film has survive. The talking sequences occurred only in the court-martial sequences which had to be cut down in the silent version in order to insert title cards. The synchronized portions of the film appear to be intact in the silent version.
