Terence Crawford: When I Beat Canelo, You're Going to Cry

The Canelo vs Crawford Press Conference got heated in New York Yesterday. Dana White and Turki Alashikh were thoroughly entertained as Canelo pushed Terence Crawford in the chest after Bud got too close to him.

Although the crowd got excited, it was nothing more than a squirmish, so to speak. Some even say it was staged. I lean towards the latter. This gives content creators and boxing fans something to talk about.

Dana White made it clear from the podium that this fight, as well as the other major fights that have taken place recently, would not have happened unless Turki Alalshikh and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia were not involved.

We're getting Crawford vs Canelo because of Turki Alashikh's passion for the sport of boxing. Canelo fans booed Bud Crawford when he said he's on the hunt and plans on taking them belts from Canelo.

After that, Bud tells the crowd, and I quote, "When I beat Canelo, you're gonna cry when you get home. Unquote. This press conference got me excited.

The country boy from Omaha, Nebraska, has a lot of doubters on this one, understandably so. Canelo has had a similar effect to Mike Tyson on fighters over the years.

What do I mean by that? When fighters like Jaime Munguia, Edgar Berlanga, William Skull, and Jermell Charlo fought Canelo, they seemed to be scared before they even stepped into the ring.

They kissed Canelo a** in the lead-up to the fight. It was apparent they were just happy to be in the ring with Canelo. They fought scared. They fought to survive.

The Omaha assassin won't take that approach. As Bud told me in our recent interview. On September 13th, all questions will be answered. In other news, the Juggernaut that's promoting this event is massive.

A company by the name of TKO Group Holdings is putting the world of sports entertainment in a chokehold. This is the parent company behind TKO Boxing, the promoter of the Crawford versus Canelo fight.

The Board of Directors includes Ariel Emanuel (CEO and Executive Chair); Vince McMahon, former owner of WWE; Ari Emanuel; Egon Durban; Nick Khan; Steve Koonin; Jonathan Kraft; Sonya Medina; Mark Shapiro; Carrie Wheeler; and Nancy Tellum.

These are incredibly wealthy and influential individuals. Boxing has never seen this type of money and power in the sport before. This group, in conjunction with Turki Alalshkh and the Crown Prince, makes the Mafia boxing days look like child's play.

Whether you like it or not, you're gonna learn to love it or hate it. But know one thing. You can't stop it, and neither can I. What do you think about Yesterday's press conference between Canelo and Crawford?
