If you want to stream or capture gaming or content at high refresh rates and still want to pass through even higher resolutions and refresh rates, then you need a capture card that has HDMI 2.1

This allows you to record or capture at 4K (3840 x 2160) 60 FPS, and also pass through that signal to your monitor at up to 4K 144 FPS and also the options or VRR (variable refresh rate) and also with full HDR support.

All you need is a PCIe gen3 x 4 slot and a bunch of cash!
But it is cheaper than the USB version of this capture card by around £40 (at the time of recording)
