favorite most expensive brand new fishing rod…. Ugh!

I don’t know what I was thinking. I forgot my PFD (personal flotation device) that doubles as a very nice vest that holds all my stuff including my backup USB battery.

So I eagerly paddled back to the ramp/ dock hoping to return quickly to start fishing - Very excited!

Ka Boom! I drove my kayak into the dock not thinking about the my fishing rods and POP! My brand new favorite M2 Lews fishing rod was broken beyond repair. Very sad and disappointing.

But I soldiered on with my lesson well tucked into my memory. That is what makes this a cautionary tail. Don’t do what I did.
