91, Genesis 45 A celebration of restoration!
Hi, I’m Sal Lopez Executive Director of Ozark Hunger Relief, I am doing this to hopefully find some sponsors (tax deductible donations) for an office in Prairie Grove, Ar. I have seen and fed many children who wander around here. I thought if I started a non-profit, the community would be happy to help. Nope! I’ve had nothing but suspicion, derision, denial, and was ripped off for everything I had, by another food pantry. They offered to help, then when I delivered everything, I had, then they told me to stay away from them, but subsequently asked me for more donations. It has been horribly depressing, but I will persevere and get this office open.
My vision is to be a community resource center, but the main goal is to feed hungry kids, whose parents are drug addicts, and/or alcoholics. I guess some are just poor. Anyway, I need help and will advertise for you, and have signs of acknowledgement for every donor, proportionate for the donation.
Anyway, this episode is 91 jon Genesis 45
This chapter is a celebration of God’s faithfulness. Joseph’s brothers thought they’d destroyed his life, but God was weaving a masterpiece. Every tear, every struggle, every moment Joseph spent in that prison—God was using it to position him for a miracle. And today, I’m here to tell you that God is doing the same for you! You may have gone through hardships, maybe you’ve felt betrayed or overlooked, but God is saying, “I’m not done with you yet! I’m turning your story around, and your breakthrough is coming!” Can you say amen to that?
Let’s lean in, because Genesis 45 shows us three things we need to hold onto. First, God’s plan is always bigger than our problems. Joseph’s brothers meant to harm him, but God meant it for good (Genesis 45:5). That job loss, that health challenge, that relationship struggle—it’s not the end of your story. God is using it to set you up for something greater. Second, forgiveness opens the door to restoration. Joseph could’ve held onto bitterness, but he chose to forgive. When you let go of the hurt, you make room for God’s blessings to flow. And third, God’s provision is on the way. Joseph tells his brothers, “I will provide for you” (Genesis 45:11), and he sends them back with wagons loaded with blessings! God’s got wagons of blessings headed your way too—favor, healing, opportunities, and breakthroughs!
Now, here’s where it gets really exciting. Just like Joseph was reunited with his family, you and I are headed for the ultimate reunion. Because of Jesus, we are saved, we are redeemed, and we are blessed beyond measure! Say it with me: “I am blessed!” Come on, say it louder: “I am blessed!” That’s right! The Rapture is coming, and we’re going to be raised up to meet Jesus in the air, to live with Him in heaven forever! No more sorrow, no more pain, just eternal joy in the presence of our Savior! Oh, I wish somebody would shout hallelujah right now! We’re not just living for today; we’re living for eternity, and God has prepared a place for you that’s more beautiful than you can imagine!
Let me tell you a story to encourage you. I heard about a man who lost everything—his business failed, his family was struggling, and he felt like giving up. But he kept coming to church, kept praising God, kept believing for a turnaround. One day, out of the blue, a new opportunity came—a better job, a restored family, a fresh start. He said, “It was like God revealed Himself to me, just like Joseph did to his brothers!” That’s what God does! He steps into your story at just the right time and says, “I’ve got you, and I’m bringing you into a new season of blessing!”
So, what do we do with Genesis 45 today? First, we celebrate! Celebrate that God’s plan for you is bigger than anything you’re facing. Celebrate that you’re saved, forgiven, and headed for heaven! Second, we forgive. Let go of the past, release the hurt, and watch God restore what was broken. And third, we expect God’s provision. Joseph sent his brothers home with everything they needed and more. God’s got more for you—more peace, more joy, more favor than you can imagine!
As we close, I want you to stand up and declare this with me: “My God is bigger! My future is brighter! I’m saved, I’m blessed, and I’m headed for heaven!” Come on, let’s give God one more shout of praise! The Rapture is coming, your eternity is secure, and God is working all things together for your good right now. Go out this week with a smile on your face, joy in your heart, and expectation in your spirit, because your best days are ahead, and heaven is waiting! God bless you, and I’ll see you in glory!
