Tikka M27 Unboxing from CORWIN ARMS

In 1927 the Finnish Army adopted the M27 which was an entirely new design built on the Mosin Nagant action. It features a 27” barrel and an overall length of 46”. Some differences include an improved front sight with protective “ears” and a combined front barrel band and nose cap. M27s were built from 1927 to 1940 by Tikkakoski.

I generally don't make unboxing video's but couldn't help myself. I am thinking about comparing this 1939 M27 with a 1939 Soviet Izhevsk 91/30. What are the twist rates? How did the bore's slug? what are the velocity comparisons? Are the M27 sights actually better? The only way to know is to get rounds on target and find out.

This rifle was found at Corwin Arms (here in Canada). You should consider stopping by and walking through Martin's website. https://www.corwin-arms.com/ I have to affiliation with the Corwin Arms but I support them for bringing interesting products to Canadian consumers and using a grading system that is fair.

PS: I definitely need to burn off some winter fat! Yikes...

In my opinion Corwin Arms is one of Canada's unsung retail heroes so far as having interesting inventory is concerned and a grading system that we can trust. In my humble opinion it is worth paying a few extra hard earned dollars to make sure your purchase will meet your expectations.

Stop by https://www.corwin-arms.com/ and have a look for yourself.
