IDF: Commander of Hatzerim Airbase: "We are striking enemy missiles and thereby reducing the number of launches toward the State of Israel. The people of Israel are showing resilience and giving us the strength we need to complete the mission."

From the remarks of the Commander of Hatzerim Airbase, Brig. Gen. A: "About a week ago, the Israeli Air Force launched a historic operation against the Iranian regime in Tehran, that set itself the goal of destroying the State of Israel. We will not allow that.

In the past week, all personnel of the Israeli Air Force, both regular and reserve service, across all divisions, have been operating together with the IDF’s other branches and additional directorates outside the IDF to meet all the tasks and achieve victory.

The home front is always on our minds. We protect as a result of four dimensions. The first is the excellent work of the Home Front Command in providing alerts, intelligence and rescue. The second is the aerial defense, which performs miracles and succeeds in intercepting most of the missiles. The third is the offensive effort—we strike enemy missiles, weapons storage facilities, launchers, and personnel, thereby reducing the volume of launches directed at the State of Israel. The fourth element is national resilience. The people of Israel are showing determination, pride, strength, and resilience, giving the IDF the backing it needs to fully complete its mission.

After more than 600 days of war, we never for a moment forget our brothers and sisters held captive in Gaza, and we are acting to bring them home. The people of Israel live."
