Backstage at the resort 2024 runway show for Frederick Anderson's self-titled brand, the designer expressed his enthusiasm for the collection, emphasizing its focus on fun and holiday vibes. The show, held at the futuristic Nebula nightclub in Times Square, featured performances by Natasha Bedingfield, who had formed a special partnership with Anderson after attending one of his shows.

Anderson's collection transported the audience to outer space, with disco ball astronaut helmets, shimmering lurex knits resembling stardust, and ethereal frocks in nebula-inspired colors. Drawing inspiration from the future as imagined in the late '80s and '90s, he incorporated Geoffrey Beene's cutout designs, particularly seen in the concave style lines and lace cutouts on the backs of his dresses.

For daytime attire, Anderson showcased deep navy denim cargo pants and micro shorts, complemented by captivating knit separates that effortlessly transitioned from day to night. In the evening, weightlessly draped silk dresses exuded an allure perfect for the nightclub setting. Anderson's inventive use of lace was evident, combining it with silks, knitwear, and embellishments.

One of the standout looks was Bedingfield's opening stage ensemble, featuring denim cargo pants paired with a fringed lurex crocheted top, both of which were part of the runway collection. With many of Anderson's loyal customers present, it was a powerful realization of the designer's vision in action. After the runway segment, the lights dimmed, and the after-party commenced, signaling the end of a successful show.
