Private Piero Maranon-Velazco, who joined the Army in 2023, describes the retaliation he faced at Fort Jackson for expressing conservative views. Maranon-Velazco says on the day of his graduation, he was put under investigation for violating DEI and equal opportunity policies and was held in unlawful confinement for five months.
