Ep 3 Omnibus Bills & Racist Child Welfare Legislation

At the State level, they debate multi-subject omnibus bills, a current lawsuit to overturn a large bill from 2023, and Senator Cal Bahr's bill to strengthen the single subject clause of our Constitution. The Bad Law of the Week is "The African American Minnesotan Family Preservation Act of 2024" which will prevent child welfare workers from protecting black children if the percentage of black children determined to be in danger exceeds their represented percent of population.
