If Jefferson Meant "All *White* Men Are Created Equal"...So What?

Some people complain that when Thomas Jefferson wrote "all men are created equal" in the Declaration of Independence, he meant all *white* men. But these complainers are ignoring how revolutionary (pun intended) even a concept like *that* was back in the day.
