TIME TO TEACH YOU TO MAKE A SLOPPY JOE BURRITO. RECIPE INCLUDED.

THE RECIPE
2 pounds lean ground beef
to taste Salt
to taste Pepper
2 tbsp chopped onion
2 tbsp red bell pepper, chopped
2 tbsp green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup ketchup
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp light brown sugar
1 tsp onion powder
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
1 cup Cheddar cheese, additional for sprinkling
3 tbsp oil
4 large tortillas

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.

2. Sprinkle in the chopped onion, red and green bell peppers. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften slightly.

3. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and onion powder. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat.

4. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the milk and bring it to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Remove from heat.

5. Lay one tortilla flat and spoon a generous amount of the beef mixture in the center. Top with a spoonful of cheese sauce and an additional sprinkle of cheese. Fold the sides in and roll the burrito tightly.

6. In the same skillet or grill, heat 3 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat. Place the burrito seam-side down and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

7. Slice the burritos in half and serve hot, drizzling with extra cheese sauce if desired!
