🠚 Arid Sands Act 1: 0:07
↳ Score needed: 150.000
The stage is divided in two halves. At first Sonic has to go through Shamar and it can be quite bothersome to traverse because of the architecture of the city itself and there are some NPCs in the way that can halt you.
Once you reach the desert area, the level design becomes more open and there are a few shortcuts here and there. It's also somewhat easy to miss the Goal Ring if you bump into a wall at the very end, watch out for that.

🠚 Arid Sands Act 2: 2:54
↳ Score needed: 100.000
Complete a lap around the canyon using QTEs to progress. The first two QTEs are fixed so you can memorize the inputs but the next three are random.
You can fail the third QTE on purpose, Air Boost your way to a platform and continue as normal. Is it worth to lose a "Great!" or "Cool!" bonus in exchange of saving a bit of time? Probably not. Does it look stylish? Absolutely!
