I am the "Original Writer" of the Lyrics to this song (Copyright 2009) this will be a "New" beginning for my original, newly created music, and as a "Duet." My Original Concept when I wrote this song, was that sometimes no matter how hard you try to love a person, and do things to show your love, life can step in and tear even the strongest relationships apart. My Original Lyrics are actually based on a Real-Life Relationship experience. I compare the "Night," in a metaphoric sense, as every dark force (physical and spiritual) that fights against a couple's efforts at securing true love, only to find that those dark forces can many times defeat your greatest efforts!
