Cancelled Philosopher comments on a section of "Less Than Nothing," by my favourite Hegelian/Lacanian/Marxist philosopher, Slavoj Zizek. He describes famous 1700s Enlightenment philosopher, Kant's failed attempt to dismantle continental idealist philosopher, Hegel's system of absolute knowledge. To Zizek ally, Jacobi, it's the case that founder of German idealism, Fichte's different system of knowledge could not adequately replace Hegel's system that Kant claimed to have destroyed.
