250th Army Birthday! Army Reflections

The 250th Birthday of the United States Army was 14 June, 2025. Millions watched the Army Parade and Celebration. Nostalgia, pride, sadness, joy and grief floated through the hearts and minds of the celebrants, participants and observers. I read the names of my 20 West Point classmates who died in Vetnam. I mention some Army experiences from West Point, Class of 1968, and reflect on the Army experience I had as an officer, aviator, leader, follower. Duty, Honor Country - the West Point motto , reminds me daily of my oath and mycommitment.
