John 19 – Not breaking Yeshua’s legs resemble the requirements of the Passover lamb. 2021

John 19:36 For these things came to pass, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "NOT A BONE OF HIM SHALL BE BROKEN."

The fact that they did not break His legs was a fulfillment of

Psalm 34:19-20 Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But the LORD delivers him out of them all. 20He keeps all his bones; Not one of them is broken.

This is also fulfilling the requirements of the Passover lamb, the bones of which were not to be broken.

Ex. 12:46 “It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring forth any of the flesh outside of the house, nor are you to break any bone of it.

John 19:37 And again another Scripture says, "THEY SHALL LOOK ON HIM WHOM THEY PIERCED."

The piercing of His body is in fulfillment of

Zech. 12:10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first-born.
