So many things to say about the 2025 legislative session, but not enough could probably be said about the last day of session. It was as though a large number of our senators had completely lost their mind.

There were threats and coercions and stomping on rules and insults and - well the list goes on.

Probably one of the most interesting part of that day was the part in which Shane Jett stood against every single senator on the floor to argue for keeping the Governor Stitt-appointed head of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
