ELKS LODGE FUNDED IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,OOO

St. Mary's County Attorney John Houser gave a report to the Board of St. Mary's Commissioners on the approval of a public bond authority request to the Maryland General Assembly by the Commissioners to reimburse the Elks Lodge #2092 $25,000 for a new HVAC system for their building. Commissioner Mike Hewitt, an officer and board member of the private club, stopped Houser to confirm that the bond bill had passed. Funded? asked Hewitt. Funded confirmed Houser.
