By day, the Cheney Mansion is all charm — a beautifully preserved 19th-century home standing proud in Jerseyville, Illinois. But once the sun goes down, something changes. We only had one night inside this historic mansion. One night to listen. And we weren’t alone. Using spirit boxes, recorders, and other equipment, we captured voices — names, calls for help, and even a message that seemed meant for us.
It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic. But it was real.
