Nationalism (Populism) Is A Lie

In this video, I discuss the weaponization of nationalism or populism especially by the Russians to create disorder and chaos in target societies. These concepts appeal to emotions and have no doctrinal substance or specific policy positions other than tearing down the current systems of cooperation domestically and internationally. The goals of such efforts are to break up Western alliances, drive Western countries out of the global or international scene, and help give rise to tyrannies in the target societies. All of this serves Russian geopolitical goals.

MAGA is a populist or nationalist movement, and with Trump advances Russian geopolitical goals. MAGA is inspired and lead by people who are sympathetic to Russia, and receptive to Russia's disinformation campaigns. Trump's language of grievance motivates MAGA as a malicious force in society causing great harm. Recently, there arose another spat between the different factions in MAGA made more possible because of the vagueness of any doctrine associated with the movement. Ultimately, Trump resolves all issues as he is the autocrat demanded by MAGA populism.

Nationalist or Populist movements and their leaders pose serious national security threats to the societies they inhabit. These movements must be neutralized while the leadership removed from power and brought to justice as the subverters, the fifth columns, that they are. These movements are aggression by penetration and societies have a right and duty to defend themselves from this evil.
