In the Old Testament, the "former rain" and "latter rain" refer to two distinct rainy seasons in the region of Israel, crucial for the agricultural cycle. A New Day has Dawned = Breakfast Spring feasts: First coming. Passover, unleavened bread, First Fruits, Pentecost A New Covenant. Start of a New Day = Breakfast Fall Feasts: Second coming. Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles The breakfast described above is represented by the "former rain", .which was in the spring. (March and April). This breakfast marks the start of the planting season, while today's breakfast is represented by the "latter rain", which falls in the late autumn. ( October and November.) This breakfast is essential for the ripening and maturing crops for harvest. These rains are viewed as blessings from God, vital for a successful harvest.
