Digital Lockdown: Present ID To Gain Internet Access

The US Senate is re-introducing a bill called the STOP CSAM Act of 2025 which takes a sledgehammer to all encryption messaging platforms forcing the companies to scan all information behind privacy barriers for face lawsuits. This would essentially eliminate all private and encrypted data across all platforms. France is also looking to label Twitter an adult website which would require all users to present a digital ID to access the social media platform.
