Far But Still Ours

Far But Still Ours

I watch the sunrise on my own,
You’re waking up in a different zone.
The space between us, cold and wide,
But I still feel you by my side.

We’re far but still ours,
Held together by unseen stars.
Though you’re not near, you’re in my heart,
Distance can’t tear us apart.
We count the days, we trust the hours—
We’re far… but still ours.

I write your name across the sky,
I see your face when I close my eyes.
Your voice, a light in every storm,
It keeps my lonely nights warm.

We’re far but still ours,
Bound by time and love’s deep power.
Though I can’t reach your hand today,
I feel you in every word I say.
We wait with hope, beneath these stars—
We’re far… but still ours.

One day soon, this gap will fade,
And side by side, we’ll walk the days.
But until then, I’ll carry you,
In everything I say and do.

We’re far but still ours,
Linked beyond these lonely hours.
No plane, no road, no ocean wide,
Could take your love from deep inside.
We may be apart, behind the stars—
But you’re mine… and we’re still ours.
