In this episode, nurses Nicole, Dave, and Ashley discuss the ongoing trial against Ascension St. Elizabeth’s hospital regarding their care of Grace Schara, who died during the Delta wave of Covid in October of 2021.
They discuss a perspective on the trial by a very informed fellow dissident nurse, who has been following it closely: nurse Andrea.
Andrea is a registered nurse with experience working the Covid unit throughout the pandemic including the fall of 2021. Andrea adopted a Downs syndrome baby who has spent weeks in a Pediatric ICU and has been trached and ventilated (though not because of Covid). Her baby has been on Precedex, morphine, and Ativan. Andrea was fired after having her Covid vaccine exemption request denied. She’s an ex-vaxxer. She has worked as a forensic nurse investigator. With those credentials, I don’t know anyone better to comment on Grace’s case.
Andrea listened to our prior episode and Dave’s episode with Jodi. She has been listening to the trial.
