Progress on the staircase banister in the barn

I made some progress on the staircase banister on the 2nd floor of the barn. I'm not the greatest carpenter in the world. Rather than 2x4s, I used 54" posts that I cut down to about 46". I then used 3/8" 7" hex bolts, washers and nuts to attach them to the beam. I could use a little rotary tool with sandpaper attachment to refine some of the horrible notch work I did, as well as some wood filler. Add that to the list of 5000 other touch up jobs on my list, because I don't do stuff right the first time :)
